You Always See What We See

Trust and confidence starts with transparency. This is the fundamental belief that drives everything we do at Newton Corner Dental Care. We recognize the use of an intraoral camera during every appointment is a little different. However, it is the best way for us to be sure you fully understand what is happening in your mouth before any treatment is started.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re dedicated to bringing our patients a world-class dental experience, and that includes educating them about dentistry. Are there any dental questions that have been on your mind lately? Check the following FAQs to see if they have the information that you’ve been looking for. Of course, if your question isn’t addressed here, you always have the option of asking one of our team members directly; don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s something you want to know.

Dental emergencies need to be treated as soon as possible before the situation grows more severe. As such, when you need emergency dental care, we can make arrangements to see you on the same day. It is best to call our office if you want to schedule a same-day appointment, as you may not get a response as quickly if you reach out via email.

One of the advantages of calling to schedule a same-day appointment is that it gives you a chance to talk to one of our team members. They can give you advice for managing your symptoms until your smile can be treated.

Plenty of practices offer teeth whitening and other services meant to enhance the appearance of the smile. But how can you find the right dentist to perform such procedures? One strategy is to check their credentials to see if they’re involved with any organizations that provide their members with advanced cosmetic dentistry training. As an example, Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

The simple answer is that the average cost for a tooth extraction in the United States is in the range of $150 to $400. However, the exact amount you end up paying will depend on a number of factors, such as:

  • The geography of the practice.
  • How many teeth need to be removed.
  • How difficult the extraction is.

Our team will give you an estimate of how much you can expect to pay for a tooth extraction. They can also explain ways to manage your out-of-pocket costs even without dental insurance. For example, you can break up the cost of your care by applying for financing.

Becoming a dentist in the United States requires one of two degrees: a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). To obtain either of these degrees, one must first earn a bachelor’s degree before enrolling in an accredited dental school. Completing dental school takes three years, and it involves hands-on learning in addition to classroom learning. Even after dental school, dentists are required to regularly complete a specific number of continuing education hours.
